Recently we took a trip to New York City, so naturally we decided to find a new restaurant that caters to our gluten free needs.

Two years ago, when my son started begging me for Squeezable yogurt, I thought that it sounded disgusting. But, all of his friends at school had them and he wanted to eat them, too. We looked up all of the regular brands and none were gluten free.

We tried a special brand from Whole Foods that was very expensive. There were four in a pack and they were too large, which meant that my son would have to throw away a lot of yogurt every day at lunch.

Failure to Thrive Can be a Symptom of Celiac Disease

Since my son's birth, he started to fall off of the growth chart. He was born a month early.. so he started out small. But, he was in the 25% percentile for height at birth and well below the 5% by 4 months. By 9 months, the doctors started take note and mention that it was something they were watching. By a year, they started to talk about growth hormones. Fortunately, I was familiar with Celiac disease, because my niece has it.

Jolly Time Popcorn - Gluten Free and Budget Friendly

Luckily, there are a lot of microwave popcorns that are gluten free - Newman's Own Popcorns>, Smart Balance Popcorns and others. But, I've been looking for popcorn that I can put in the popcorn popper or make on the stovetop. I prefer it that way and it's usually much less expensive to make popcorn that way.
