District-Taco

District Taco in Washington, D.C. is an extremely popular restaurant. When we have been in D.C., we've seen people lined up out the door on a regular basis. They do have gluten free soft corn tortillas. Make sure to ask for these only and tell them that your food needs to be gluten free, (i.e. don't just ask for the corn tortilla - tell them about your gluten free needs!).

MS-Grill---Washington,-DC-in-Washington-DC

M&S Grill (that's as in McCormick and Schmick's) in Washington, D.C. has a gluten free menu and a friendly staff eager to help you find something that you will love to eat. Food was prepared promptly and was delicious. Located near the White House, it's a great place to have a nice dinner if you're out seeing the sites or need a reliable venue for a business meeting.

Dorado Tacos just south of Union Square was one of the restaurants we sampled on our recent gluten-free blitz through NYC.

Their menu on the wall clearly lists which items are gluten free.

Feel-Good-Foods-Egg-Rolls

I had Feel Good Foods' dumplings last summer while traveling and really loved them. If I found them at a store again, I'd buy them in a second. So, when I saw Feel Good Foods Egg Rolls at my grocery store, I was excited to try them. In my opinion, they weren't as good as the dumplings. I wouldn't buy them again. It's possible that I haven't had egg rolls in so long that I don't like them anymore.

Trader-Joes-Dark-Chocolate-Mints

Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Mints are made without any gluten ingredients. They are like a classic chocolate after dinner mint. The label reads that they are "Mints with a Crunchy White Candy Shell and Pure Peppermint Center." These are excellent and I highly recommend them!

THESE CONTAIN MILK, SOY AND MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS AND OTHER TREE NUTS

Here is Trader Joe's list of products with (Continue Reading)
