Yes, You'll Have to Buy a New Toaster

If you are diagnosed with Celiac disease, you'll need to have a special toaster that's only for gluten free products. Now that Udi's bread is available, you can actually make sandwiches without toasting. Regardless, don't make the mistake of using your old toaster. Your old toaster is filled with crumbs and can never be fully cleaned in order to safely be used. Other items that should be purchased: new cookie sheets, new colander, pie pan if old one is metal, pizza pan, bread pan, non-stick items (especially those with scratches). Basically, if a pan or kitchen utensil could potentially have residue on it from your gluten days, it's not worth the risk of using when preparing gluten free food.
