Land O'Lakes® butter is gluten free. (This does NOT include Land O'Lakes LIGHT Butter, which the company says does contain gluten.) The rest of their butters, natural and process cheese, margarine and Fresh Buttery Taste® Spread products do not contain gluten.
Also, many Land O'Lakes dairy products have very low lactose, low enough so that the sugars listed on the nutritional panel will read 0g of sugar. (Remember that lactose is a sugar.) The company, for instance, informed me that their butters contain approximately .008g per serving (1 tablespoon) of lactose.

I discovered I have celiac disease in 2006, after my son was diagnosed, and have been on a gluten-free diet ever since. We are on a mission to help make the gluten-free lifestyle as fun and easy as possible. In addition to my work on GlutenFreeGrapvine.com, I also provide counseling and psychotherapy services to others with celiac disease and crohn's disease, among other chronic medical conditions.
